test uses TRUE USB timing only (DualSense on a USB data cable) — it connects automatically on start

DualSense calibration — WebHID

NVS —
USB cable only. Keep the battery charged — if it dies mid-write the pad is bricked. Calibration runs temporary (in RAM) until you hit Save permanently. Stock DualSense only; clones will fail the genuine check.

Advanced — stick finetune table

Step Target
Direct access to the 12 raw 16-bit calibration values inside the stick modules. Edits write to the pad live (RAM) — watch the dot move above. Auto-zero runs a closed loop: it nudges the center values and measures the live output until each axis converges. Note: DualSense reports sticks at 8-bit, so one output step = 0.0078 — ±0.004 is physically perfect.

Peak— dB

Rate—
Tests any input — headset, DualSense built-in mic (shows up as a USB audio device when the pad is plugged in), or interface. Waveform on top, frequency spectrum below. Processing (echo cancel / noise suppression / AGC) is disabled so you see the raw signal.

Universal calibration — any controller (Xbox / PS / 3rd party) · software-side

Measures your sticks and demonstrates correction in-browser — nothing is written to the controller. Use the numbers (deadzone, range) in game settings or remapper profiles. For permanent calibration written to the controller itself, use the DualSense section above.
Deadzone 5.0%
Measures and corrects in-page only — nothing is written to the controller. Use it to test any pad (Xbox has no hardware write protocol), and to verify before/after DualSense hardware calibration above. Export profile saves the measured values as JSON for deadzone settings in reWASD/DS4Windows or bench records.
HOW TO READ THE NUMBERS
100% gate (full deflection) circularity error = how far the traced rim (dashed) is from a perfect circle deadzone center drift = resting point’s distance from true (0,0) noise p-p = size of the jitter cloud while resting (dashed ring) stick position magnitude = length of this arrow, 0 (center) → 1 (rim) angle angle = direction, measured in degrees from the +x axis (0–360°) range capture = rolling the rim to find min/max so calibration can rescale to 100%
Center drift = distance of resting position from (0,0) before calibration. Noise p-p = peak-to-peak jitter sampled during center capture (use it to set your minimum deadzone). Circularity error = (1 − min radius / max radius) across the captured rim — lower is rounder.
