Repair + Upgrade Services
Cinch Gaming offers a ton of repair and upgrade options. We work on competitor controllers and allow you to send in your existing controller to be upgraded.
Warranty & Repair Services
Before you dive into our gear, let’s talk warranty. This is our promise to you that your shiny new controller or headset is covered, but there are a few things you need to know.
1. What’s Covered?
Bought a brand-new controller, headset, or accessory from Cinch Gaming or one of our legit partners? You’re in luck. If anything goes wrong because of a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it, or in some cases, even refund you. Just make sure you keep that proof of purchase handy.
2. What’s Not Covered?
Normal wear and tear? That’s on you. Dropped your controller in a pool or decided to throw it after a bad game? Yeah, not our problem either. Basically, if you abuse your gear, we’re not stepping in.
3. Warranty Periods:
- New Controllers: 6 Months
- Refurbished Controllers: 6 months.
For the full details on what’s covered, check our full terms, but basically, if it breaks in the first year (or relevant period), and it's our fault, we’ve got your back.
4. How to Get Help:
If your gear is acting up, hit up our troubleshooting page first. Still having issues? Contact us for warranty service, send in your product with proof of purchase, and we’ll take care of it.
5. Expired Warranty?
If your warranty is up, you’re responsible for all repair costs. We’ll check your gear and let you know the cost before we do anything.
6. Shipping Info:
When you send us your gear for repairs or replacement, use a traceable delivery service and follow the instructions we give you. Easy peasy.
7. Not Happy with Our Service?
Hit us up if things don’t go as expected. We’ll review your case and see what can be done. You need to go through this process before starting any legal stuff.
8. Legal Stuff:
We’re not liable for any crazy damages or losses. If something does go wrong, our responsibility is limited to fixing or replacing your product under the terms of this warranty.
9. Need More Info?
This warranty is governed by the laws of [insert location] and may vary depending on where you live. For the full legalese, check out our full warranty policy.
Bottom Line:
Treat your gear right, and we’ll do the same for you.

A Hall effect thumbstick is an advanced joystick that uses magnetic sensors (the Hall effect) instead of traditional potentiometers to detect movement. In regular thumbsticks, potentiometers measure physical movement through contact, which wears down over time and can lead to issues like stick drift.
With Hall effect sensors, the thumbstick movement is detected by changes in a magnetic field, eliminating physical contact and drastically reducing wear and tear. This results in more accurate, durable, and drift-resistant thumbsticks, making them a popular upgrade for high-end controllers.
Upgrade your existing controller.
